So I installed 5100's all around on my 2012 2.7 access cab. I also got the Eibach coils and a 2 inch AAL for the rear since I didn't have the TSB leafs.
I set the front 5100's at .85 hoping to get my truck to sit level. As you could see in the picture I still have a pretty solid rake.

My question is... what is my best option? Should I throw in a set of 3/4 inch spacers and knock the rake down? or should I just get a new set of coil overs? since I can't adjust the height on the 5100's any more.

Ya sure 1/2 or 3/4 spacers take a measurement first

Alright, I'm still baffled by how the 5100's, coils and AAL lifted my truck.. from so many testimonials I figured I would be sitting level, but with the current set-up I'm at 22" hub to fender front and 24" rear. I guess I will have to go with the 3/4 inch spacer and hope for the best

Ditch the AAL or go to a 1.75 setting on the front to level it. After going through iterations in my truck, I would recommend the .85 or slightly higher setting and a mild lift in the back. Don't go too big, the ROI isn't worth it.

Did you buy the eibachs used or something? They should have came up further than that.

I bought the whole kit from TOYTEC brand new. I even called them because of the claim that it would level the truck with the bilsteins set at 0 for access cabs.. turns out that was for 1st gen trucks so I switched them to .85 and that is what gave me the current numbers.

They didn't really have an explanation as to why I didn't get more life in the front and I've heard going to the 1.75 is a mistake with the eibachs.

I am just wondering if there are other access cabs out there with my same issue or how they worked out their lift kit kinks.

I agree with the other guys. Your front end should have gotten more lift then that. We installed this exactl kit on my buddies 2006 DCLB but added the top plate spacers since he was a double cab and his truck sat perfectly level after the install.

I'm not sure I have any other options than to grab the 3/4 inch spacers and throw em in to see where I sit... realistically I should still sit with a little over an inch rake, but that isn't too bad... My truck must be some sort of weird anomaly.

With you being an access cab though those top plate spacers shouldnt be necessary cause you dont have the extra weight as a double cab does but who knows.....maybe thats why you are sitting that low up front.

Mine is being installed right now. Now I am nervous about the outcome. I think the AAL I got for the rear was only 1.75" so it should not sit that high. I have them setting the front bilstein at .85.

Please post a picture after and let me know how it went I am really curious.. I wouldn't be too worried because like I said most people get the exact right outcome. just for some reason mine is sitting heavy in the front... which is also weird because I have a 2.7. After calling Toytec and them not having an explanation I'm afraid spacers are the track I'm going and another tear down.

Just got it back from getting a set of Cooper S/T 255/85/r16's installed. As you can tell from the curb as reference the rake is still there (didn't expect it to magically disappear, but it would have been nice) but damn do those tires make a difference.

That almost looks like where its supposed to be but I agree, there is still a little bit of rake in there. Wait a few weeks and see if anything settles a little bit which they should.

I just picked my truck up from the lift install. It looks a lot like your lift. I love the way it sits. Your tires really do make a difference.

Just out of curiosity here. Are tacoma springs supposed to be oriented or clocked a certain way on the strut? On my mustang the lowering springs I used had to be oriented a certain way or I didn't get the full amount of drop. Could the Tacoma springs be the same?
