Headlights

Any good after market headlights for 2014s? Im wanting to get some blacked out headlights maybe halos idk. If you have any post a pic or link me! I have the base model so another option is getting HIDs and HID fog lights. what do you guys think

 

Change out the bulbs, PIAA or equivalent if all you are looking for is better light output. The Tacoma reflector bowl is huge compared to most vehicles and works very well.

If something unique is what you are going for and lots more light, then doing a retrofit with HID & projectors is the way to go. Search in the Lighting Forum section and you'll find lots of examples.

 

LED's? I'll tell you right noe, I am very happy with the output and the natural light they project. Very soothing on the eyes for night time driving.

LED on the left, Halogen on right unadjusted, the bulb was the only thing swapped.

 

What kind of LED headlight bulbs?

They are 2400 lumen plug and play fanless/ballast-less CREE LED's they rock, and thus far I am very happy with them.

I have both the LED headlight and fog light bulbs. They work great in the 2012+ factory housings and have a crisp white light.

I actually stumbled upon these and bought the headlight bulbs from Auto Anything.com, but if you get them from Lifetime LEDs you get a lifetime warranty.
