Just put on Billies at 1.75 on stock coils. Put a Wheelers 1.5" AAL in the rear.

Now I am sitting a full 1" higher on the Passenger side in the front. It already was up about 1/4 inch stock. I know I didnt switch sides with the coils, and I was careful not to remove them both at the same time for this reason.

I've inspected it really good, and the only thing I can see is the top of the Passenger side coil is sitting under one of the bolts for the top plate. It must have turned at some point, because I thought I had it in between the bolts on the top plate. The drivers side looks good.

Could the passenger side coil be sitting under that top plate bolt pushing me up 1/2" to 3/4" higher on that side?

Before you become too upset measure the frame to ground height both sides, measuring the fender to ground is not a good reference they are bolt on parts.

I've been measuring from the ground to fender, and center of hub to fender. I'll try the from ground to frame later, we gotta go catch some fireworks.

Its visibly higher on the passenger side. Even without a measuring tape, you can tell something's not right.

Nope both of those are installed correctly one coil is just at a different point of rotation around the shock compared to the other. Grab a 3/8ths top plate spacer from wheelers and call it good enough.

    Is your sway bar installed?

No its not. I forgot to mention that. I had some trouble getting one of the end links off when I did the install last weekend. I ended up cutting the end link bolt off with a sawzall. They looked like they needed to be replaced anyway. I'm waiting on new end links from rockauto.

That might account for some of the lean, but do you think it would always be 1" lower on the drivers side with the sway bar being off?

If the passenger side link was the one you cut it could contribute to the lean however I doubt it would be the total cause. But these are known to lean anyway when lifted. I would still plan on the top plate spacer. How's it ride with this setup? I was thinking of doing the exact same setup on mine.

Make sure the AALs aren't specific to what side they're on.

I have a 2013 TRD Sport and added the OEM Baja suspension. I have a full 1' lean in the back and 0.5' - 0.75' lean in the front.

I've still got a set up Wheelers progressive HD AAL sitting in the garage waiting to install. I might have read somewhere that the Wheelers designed the AAL to help with the lean but can't remember exactly.

Lean will be greater with the sway bar off than with it on. However, the difference should not be 1".

    X2. Check this.

Also check the orientation of the spring perch on the Bilstein 5100s. Make sure you didn't flip one of the perches or mistakenly set one of them at a higher height.

Did you accidently swap sides on the stock coils ? IIRC the driver's side is taller

I'm positive I didnt switch them. I did the passnger side first, leaving the drivers side on, then did the drivers side. Then I took the passenger side off and re-installed it the next day because I had some problems with the cam bolts on that side.

As it sits right now in the driveway it's only 3/8" to 1/2" higher on the passenger side. I'm totally fine with that if it stays. I've got some old granite slabs (200# maybe) in the bed to help the rear leafs settle a bit. Getting the sway bar back on may get it even closer. Maybe she just had to settle in, I had not really driven it much since I put it on. Maybe 5 miles total.

I torqued the leaf u-bolts down to spec today, and re-installed the sway bar on the front. I put new end links in the sway bar, and I like the way it tightens up the front end. All the extra weight is out of the bed and I'm at exactly 1/2" higher on the passenger front. the back is about 1/8" higher on the passenger side.

I do have a hummm from what I fully expect to be one or both of the front diff bearings as the last remaining obstacle from my lift. I'm gonna let it sing until it gets bad enough that I feel the urge to pull the trigger on it. Then I'm going with the ECGS bearings.

Sorry for the late response. The ride is perfect for me. It feels like a truck now. The original shocks were still on it when I bought it and they were toast at 150,000. So I cant make a fair 5100"s ride to stock ride. But I am very happy with the setup as far as looks and functionality. I was looking for a little lift and a better stance when loaded. I hauled two bed fulls of cinder blocks about 30 miles over the weekend and it handled it like a champ. I had to be around 1500 lbs, and it only came down on the bumpstops twice, and it was in the same spot in the road both times.
