    This.

The 430's are discontinued. Your best chance at getting them is going to be somewhere local or maybe by calling either Rack Attack or Rack & Road directly. Why not go with the 460? It's more or less the same height.

I have a full set of brand new 430's on the Leer. Adding another 430 will make them all exactly the same height, according to my measurements, and that's fairly essential in this case.

Called Rack Attack yesterday. They said they "may be able to rig up something that would work". Hmmm.

Anyway, problem solved. Leer and their dealer network appear to be the only source that has them available and in stock. One 430 half pack with tk1's and a 50" bar for $165.

Thanks for all the input! :)

Eddy @ SOS makes a low profile rack, and can customize the length and height. I had him make an extended one at a specific height for my garage (about 3-4" higher than standard). My RTT clears the garage entrance by 1".

I have been using a harbor freight net for a few years mounted with hooks, its nice having your shoes right out side the zipper.
I have a red and black base camp fan/led light. Its battery operated so I just pack extra batteries. It has been working well on my last two trips.

That's exactly what I plan to do, but I saw someone who used eyebolts instead and placed the nut in the rail (so that the "eye" is down). He then ran a large (long) padlock through the eyes of the bolt. I hope to give that a shot.

I was like  at your mileage until I realized you had the 2.7. On our trip last weekend to Mt. Pisgah, NC (200+ miles), we averaged around 16 mpg going up, and around 17 mpg coming back down (unscientific gas station math).

I have my RTT mounted on my ARE topper as well. I have the Yakima rails mounted and the then towers and bars mounted to the Yakima rails. Pretty nice set up. Seems to support everything fine. I did make a small 2x4 wood frame to help support the RTT when my GF and I are camping in it. I think the topper would support it fine, but better safe than sorry when the pups are sleeping in the topper below.

Yeah, she struggles a bit getting up to highway speed, even with the gears, but the mileage is well worth it! Got your tent yet?

Yep. It's me Box Rocket. Part of my position with Tepui is handling the company presence on message boards. New account for official Tepui stuff so I can keep my personal stuff separate from company stuff.

Wasn't trying to keep it hidden and knew it was pretty obvious. I guess all I'm saying is that Tepui as a company has a real presence here now. Even though I'll be the one handling most of the posts etc, the other guys have access to the account and and will be monitoring as well. So the info that is posted using the TepuiTents ID will not be me just making stuff up.

Yeah that was me, but I only did the eyebolt/padlock combo on one of them. The other 3 are just using extended bolts. Oh, I also painted mine to help with the rust factor. And added the felt side of velcro on the inside channel of the exhaust clamp (the part that touches the roof rack)

I was being very light-hearted in my comments. Just playing on the similarities is all. It was not intended to discredit Tepui or yourself in any way. I have seen their product live and it is high quality. Glad to see they will actively be taking part in our community and helping to grow their products.

I do! Our tent and AC mat arrived last week and we took it to NC for camping over the 4th with friends from ExPo.
