Can anyone recommend a good shop for windshield replacement here in the SF Bay Area? I had a local shop replace it and they totally botched the molding (cheap generic molding) and sliced up my cowl seal. Insurance will replace it (re-do the whole thing) under warranty and is fine with toyota molding (rain lip FTW). I need a shop who can do it right... rather not go with the likes of safelite.

    Any shop recommendations appreciated. Thanks.

John at GlassPlus on S Van Ness in The City. He is a member here and on toyota120.com . I think his username is UnionJack.

John, and his company, have replaced several windshields for me in the past and I always recommend him. They just replaced the windshield in Ze Vagon(2001 BMW 325XI Wagon) and I couldn't be happier.

Excellent - I'll reach out to both of them. Thanks.
