All I see in those links is a bunch of speculation and 'go to this link to buy some magazine bullsh!t' to hear even more speculation.
I'm from Missouri...you have to show me more than speculation.

Have you done any looking yourself ? You can call toyota yourself to find out. It would suck for you to wait and be SOL.

I'd love to have a spare regular cab 4x4 to run the pissed out of, but couldn't see myself buying anything less than an access cab as a DD. That little bit of storage space makes all the difference.

^A large toolbox + hard tonneau cover would meet my storage needs. The only reason I got the Access Cab was for the V6.

It is quite possible Toyota hasn't finalized its decision on regular cabs yet, waiting for Q3 sales figures, etc.

Perhaps more info will be made available on Aug 4 when MY2015 prices get released: https://fleet.toyota.com/vehicles/tacoma.asp

When I bought my '14, Double Cab, PreRunner, I really wanted a AC so I could get the bigger box, and would have happily taken a standard cab. Dealer told me ever standard cab that hits the lot is generally sold that day. Incidentally the last two the dealer had in stock, sold in the 45 minutes I was dealing on my '14, PreRunner, DC.

It is mind boggling the decisions car companies make at times, makes me wonder if they are all run by our government.

Yes this did happen to me, Toyota cancelled my order and credited back my deposit.
Japan also told my dealer no orders on 2015 regular cabs as well.
My dealer did a 3 state search for a 4x4 reg cab without any luck...

So now I am screwed as I sold my Luccesse limited 4x4 Tundra to fund the new "promised" Taco.
I got on the internet and found this bad boy in Georgia and had it shipped to Galveston and now I am happy again.

I'm afraid it's over for the underated 4x4.

Yes,that would be my second choice.
    Access cab 4x4 v6.
I drove one with that goofy beach goers pkg but it was powerful.
If I can hang in there til' the end of August I might be able to get one regCab,maybe.

It seems as though there is interest on this site for the regular cab, however, if they discontinue it, it would have to be for lack of demand. In my mind anyway

According to The Car Connection, Tacoma 2015 regular cabs are not available.

In their 2015 build page, no regular cabs are listed.

Their 2014 build page shows the regular cab.

Still awaiting word from Toyota. Nothing shows yet on their fleet page.
