    You're going to need A LOT more metal than that.

    Don't run it the way if you have it in the pictures, you'll likely crack your windshield.

    totally right, going to make them out of 1/4'' steel. aluminum is way to soft

    Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
    Even with 1/4" steel your design is going to bounce all over the place with the light hanging off of it. My $.02

    1/4":eek: I can't imagine why you'd need em THAT thick?? Other than being overkill it's gonna really cause you problems in trying to get that moulding back down..
