How's it going tonight? Been running all night. Installed a big DC motor that promptly ran in reverse on power up:( I didn't take it out, wires were clearly marked. Decided the reman shop probably reversed the main power leads. Reversed those two leads and it ran as designed:D

    Nice time lapse Oury.

More power to the cool old dude!

Busy for me tonight too, but mainly because we're having network connectivity problems ... made everything take about 3 times as long. Oh well, it passed some time despite being incredibly frustrating. :frusty:

I expect most are home sleeping, I hope soundly, by now. Just thought I'd drop by. :)

Here too. 7 hrs left in this shift, then work Friday night into my 3 day break. Off Sat morning 'til Tue night. :) I'm off every Sun & Mon night, plus every other Sat night. Had leave planned for Tue and Wed to go fishing from the Zodiac in Cook Inlet. Doesn't look like the weather (sea state) is going to cooperate though. 15 knot winds with 3 to 4 foot seas is a little too rough for these: (pic from Copper River trip early June)

We start our week Sun nite at 10:00 (1hr early) so the first hour pays double time:D Then the rest of the week is 11-7, all O.T. is voluntary, so no surprises when you're getting ready to go home:thumbsup:

That seems like a confusing shift pattern, but I think I get it. When you're off Tue night, you're also off Sat/Sun night. Then you're off Thu and work the weekend. Rinse and repeat.

We charter a boat on lake Michigan once a year. Leave Port Washington before sunup usually done before noon. First time on that trip I took Dramamine, I won't do that again:( I just watch the horizon and I'm fine:thumbsup:

Yeah, I usually try to tough it out and watch the horizon. Dramamine just makes me too sleepy and doesn't seem to make much difference. We've taken the zodiac (ours is actually an Achilles) out in 4 foot seas; it can be done, but it's very wet and not very fun. Last time our anchor hung so bad we almost didn't get it back, and when we did it was bent up pretty bad. Decided our "enjoyable" weather limit was 10 knots of wind and 2 ft seas.
