Any one out there have a solution for my 99 tacoma. The bracket that is fatory welded to the frame you would normaly bolt your bushing and stabilizer bar bracket to has rusted off my frame on the pasenger side.

Is there any one out there that has a junk tacoma that is willing to torch this part off for me?

Or is their a better pro mod i could do?

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
Call the dealer first and see if your frame can be replaced under recall. Brackets falling off from rust is not a good sign.

They don't replace '99 frames. They crushed the truck and paid the owner for it. That has expired so unless the frame was checked and passed before, you have to fix it yourself.

    :eek:That is really bad.
I started to inspect the new truck every month for rust.
If I see any it gets sanded down and touched up with a rattle can.

Some of these pictures oh here showing rust really scares me.

Best thing op would get is buyout assuming it's been in for recall in past 5 yrs here. That's what haopened to a buddy of mine.

Took it to the dealership today. The recall expired 8 months ago so no luck their. I was able to order the part from them and it only cost $34.00.

I did check the frame over my self everything looks solid other than some flaking.
