    Guys,

I'm about to perform the first oil change on my 2014 Tacoma V-6, 4-door/short bed 4x4. I'm switching over to Mobil 1 synthetic at 1,000 miles as I have done with all of my vehicles.

After reading that a few of our forum members have unintentionally made the mistake of confusing the drain bolt for the transmission fluid with the drain bolt for the oil pan, I am hoping to avoid that same mistake.

Could someone please confirm that what is depicted in this photo is in fact the oil pan drain bolt?

And for further clarification, is this the drain bolt for the transmission fluid?

I think that is the oil pan plug.
Seems to look different than mine.
    Do you have skid plates?
I was just under mine this morning just looking around and putting eyes on both plugs.

    That is oil drain,

Top most left most is trans fluid level check, back center one is trans pan drain.
