Hey guys, I've been looking around this forum do about a week now. I just sol my 2004 Silverado 2500 because I was tired of the 6.0 vortec sucking me dry. I'm looking to buy a '97 tacoma single cab 4x4. I'm currently on Afghanistan but should be home in a couple of weeks. My only concern is the lift and large tires on this truck. It looks great but how much will this effect MPG? Either way I'll at least take a look at it. Let me know what you think if you have a truck with similar upgrades. I figure any tacoma is better then the 10/city 13/highway that my 2500 was getting. Thanks and I look forward To being a tacoma owner. PS. I did read the 1st GEN buyers thread. Very helpful I will be on the look out for the infamous frame rust.
