I have a buddy who bought some Rigid Dually's (not D2) for his truck but never installed them and went with a light bar instead. He has 2 sets for sale one pair of spot and one pair of flood. Both sets are brand new in box with harness, switch and switch mounts. He is trying to get rid of them and the price for me would be $250 for everything. The best prices I have been able to find is on Amazon which is $170 for a pair of floods or spots. So, should I snatch them up while I can or keep looking. I am looking for a 30" bar but would like these also.

That's only 125 a set which is a steal. I'd snatch them up if I were you.

I have a 30" light bar and just bought a set of Dually floods. I'd buy without hesitation. That's a great price.

Yeah, I am going to pick them up today. I am thinking about putting the spots in the foglight holes and the floods as backup lights. I have read a lot about mounting and wiring and hopefully I can just tie the fronts into my factory fog light wiring. I already did the fog light anytime mod so it should work nice for what I want.

Was it plug and play as some have stated or did you cut and splice at the housing?

Cut off the factory plug and solder and heat shrink in the rigid plug. Really easy to do.

That sounds easy enough. I went and got the goods on my lunch break. I am excited to get these mounted up.

Well, I got the spots installed into the lower valance this weekend. Total working time was about 4 hours but I custom made the 2 brackets which took a while to fit for height and depth.

Spots only, still need to adjust a little bit.

Well, I have zero brand loyalty with lights but I got both pairs about $75 under retail from my best friend and they were still new in the box. My only experience with Rigid is that my dad has had a pair of D2's on his jeep for a few years with no issues. Luckily I live in Florida where the temperature range is from ~75-95* during the summer and rarely under freezing in the winter so we should be good. I would be curious to see these under the torture tests that Rigid performs

On the other hand, I am still looking for a decent set of back up lights so these may be on order pretty soon. I appreciate the information.
