RAKE?

How much rake? or is level the most ideal?

 

All depends on what you like and how you use your truck. Nice and level for me.

 

I like the back 1/2"-1" high, no bro lean and rides level with a trailer or load. If u never pull or haul anything get id err towards the 1/2" rear high or level.

3/4 of an inch so that when Im loaded up I have less bro lean.

 

Level when loaded, including cargo and tongue weight. Otherwise, level enough that I don't have to readjust the headlights.

I like 1" or so..... anything less and I feel like the ass is draggin.

 

The stock leafs on the Tacoma are "soft". Once you start loading the bed it starts squatting fast. I like 1-1/2" at least. That way my head lights aren't lighting the sky instead of the road. The payload on our truck is about 1,300 lbs.
And that is not hard to exceed.

 

I prefer level. If I towed more or was constantly loading my bed with heavy things, I'd probably go about an inch high in the back.

 

How do you know what's "level"? Is there a place to put a level or simply measuring certain points of the vehicle?

Measure center of the hub to fender

 

1-1.5". its a pickup, it should be raked. leveled trucks look funny to me. I actually use my truck as a truck, so i need the rear higher.

 

Same. My truck has massive rake.

Air Bags. Level. No goofy rake.

 

I like rake, nothing crazy, but 1" seems right to me.
