i know it's just the masking, but it'd bee cool do do a ripple, textured look like the windows have, across an entire body.

You could try the saran wrap method. The home grown marble paint job fad has died, but I'm sure you remember seeing cars running around with that kind of paint job.

Put your mix of colors down and then lay saran wrap down. Then pinch and pull the saran wrap into the pattern you want. Let that almost dry and then peel off the saran wrap.

I don't know how it will work considering you're painting everything in reverse though.

^^^^ similar methods are still pretty popular with the RC bodies, lots of paint swirl jobs out there, especially with hydrodipping now. I've never seen a linear ripple though, always circular/wavy.

The REVO will probably never see a body again. Having the steel cage on it is a must. I'm eating through it though. I may have to run a bead or two on the cage to prevent it from grinding through.

this one has a plastic cage, so body panels of some sort are a must.

you should build a stainless cage for the revo :)

It's been in pieces several times and has been brought back to life each time.

    This happened over the 4th.
