Is it bad to park with wheels turned?

Are there any steering or suspension components that are strained if I park like in the picture?

I searched and couldn't find anything about this. It might sound stupid, but it seems that cars park a little farther from my truck when they see the tire sticking out some. So with the sliders and tire poking out I try to keep the soccer moms from beating my paint up. The only reason I think it may be bad for something is that if I let go of the steering wheel when all the way over it wants to straighten out some. Didn't post in suspension section b/c that seems to be more for lifts.
    Thanks.

    Doubt it'll hurt anything.

It won't hurt anything from what I know. The steering geometry is designed to lift the vehicle a little when the wheels are turned. That's what causes the truck to want to go in a straight line and why the wheel wants to turn back towards center sometimes.

As long as you don't hold it all the way over on the lock and then turn your truck off, you are fine. By the lock, I mean the point where it is physically impossible to turn anymore because it is at the end.

It's the law when parking down or up hill and then you have to turn the wheel so they will be stopped by the curb if there is one.
It's not recommended to park like this on level ground like in the picture.
You should have all the wheels sitting straight.
You are going to pull from there straight out so they should be straight.
If you pull out of there with wheels turned then to truck is under strain until the wheels straighten.
I always make sure the steering wheels match the rears.

I was worried I may be putting a strain on something. Thanks for all the different opinions.

if your a 4x4 it will put stress on one side of the CV boot more than the other. I would not do it all the time.
