Thanks man. Hurts like a sumbitch. Got an appointment with an ortho tomorrow so we'll see what happens. Same guy fixed both my shoulders and does an outstanding job. I'm honestly more bummed that I am missing to days of riding. But on the bright side I did get three great days of riding before this happened. I did crash about 20 feet from a bear.. damn thing just stayed there the whole time..

Love how my boss sets up meetings from noon till 6pm and we don't walk out of the office until 9pm. Then asks us to work on the weekends, and asked me to take off my vacation for my B-day to work.

To anyone who thinks salary jobs are great, you are wrong.

Is it legal for a job to approve your vacation time 2 months in advance then say its denied 1 week before your vacation? Or is it a 'tough shit that's the work life for ya' type of deal?

That's corporate 'merica, sure you can go to HR but business needs trump those of the worker. Bottom line is, no matter how hard you work and how great you are. You are just a number, you can be replaced.
So take your ass pounding, start looking for a new job but the real kick you when you're down reality is, it won't change anywhere else.

That's tough. Depends on prior agreements, negotiations, and current discussions. Any sort of on-call status can really mess with it.

Loyalty (or not) is a 2 way street unfortunately.
