Decided to take a look at my O2 sensor yesterday and was seeing if maybe it wasnt bolted down all the way or had a bad wire connection. Neither f those were the issue so I will have to get a new one. My issue is, the bolts are rusting away and I cant figure out how I would get them off when I get my O2 in the mail. Any ideas?

If you can get a propane torch in there without burning up the truck, that would be the easist. Make them red hot and you will be able to uncrew the the nuts with a pair of pliers. You will need new nuts.

What if I were to chizzle them off? Would that be possible without messing up the threads?

I would still lean towards heating them up. There is nothing wrong with the bolts, just the nuts are rounded off. I don't see chiseling being easier. And I see chiseling them messing up the bolts.

Spray 50/50 mix acetone and automatic transmission fluid on the heads a couple times in the days leading up to the swap, tapping it a hammer to penetrate. It's supposed to be significantly better than pb blaster. I'd give it a couple hours to dry (acetone is flammable) then hit with heat. If that doesn't work those bolt extractor sockets. Harbor freight has those extractor sockets cheaper.

Yea. PB Blaster the shit out of it! Pick up some "Grab-it" sockets too. If all else fails use a torch, or freeze em off.

PB blaster should do the trick though.
