I am looking at a set of ramps for my truck. Mostly for rider mowing tractors. Was looking at these. Def need folding ones.

Also what is prefered. Looking to spend 100 or so. Can't drop too much on these. Thanks for the help in advance.

Do not forget to strap them to the truck when loading! Have seen some seriously bad things happen because they were not strapped!

Try your local Harbor Freight store. They have a wide variety of ramps, including folding. I split up a pair to use for motorcycles. The have no singles, I believe. I think all ramp sets are under $100 a pair! Good quality!

I personally have dropped 350 lb lawn mowers and it is terrifying to say the least

That's what I did but even to the rear bumper is fine. Basically anyway you can make sure they don't slip off the tailgate. The first time I loaded a motorcycle, which I usually do under power by walking up one ramp and throttling the bike up the other ramp, give it a little gas and the ramp wants to go backwards instead of the bike up the ramp! Was about 1/2" from having a very bad day.

Lol. I fear that with my 700 pound m109. Sadly my bike won't fit in my short bed. Too long. Unless infot some 1 plywood or something and had it fill bed with bike on it. But this is more so for my tractor and anything else my family needs help with

    Thread Revival!
    Just picked up a 1998 delux std-cab 2wd (5-lug).
I don't participate in power sports (yet???)
Am sure to occasionally haul furniture, appliances, and push (not ride-on) mower. Can lift. Thinking ramps will make it easier on my back and body.

Anybody have experience with the 4' Ruedamann ramps?
Do I want to go with the 6-footers? (Truck is stone-stock; not lifted. 5-lug is pretty low to the ground.)
Better or worse than the Harbor Freight units?
Better or worse than cutting and painting a piece of 1.25" Subfloor to sit between the wheelwells, and slide it out as needed?
