I picked it up last night. 5 miles on the ticker when I left the lot. I was kind of sad to give up the old 2000 manual reg cab, but this new truck is like a freaking Cadillac in comparison.

I guess I should finally add mine to this thread.

2014 TRD Off Road 4x4, basically my dream truck. Only had her for 2 months now and I have been busy making it mine. Got rid of the chrome and added 265/75/16's on some KMC Enduro's. I have taking it on a few off road trips so far, love A-Trac, man these things can 4 wheel.

    That looks great!

I really want to get rid of the chrome on my bumper and grille. Did you do the work yourself or have a shop powder coat it?

Super jealous. That's exactly what I want to do with my grille, assuming I can ever find the spare cash for it.

I just called my local body shop and they ordered a OEM unpainted one from Toyota. When it came in I gave them the paint code and bam, just like it came from the factory. Cost me $350 installed and then I sold my chrome on CL for $230.

Just a heads up, the chrome cost way more than the painted. The chrome cost $660 from Toyota and a unpainted one costs $250. They only come chrome or unpainted. I know the guy at the shop so he only charged my $100 to paint and clear coat.

Seriously though Craig, I have always loved the look of your truck.

I found out the same thing after I got rear-ended, so just had the body shop get an unpainted one and they color matched it, so basically.....it was a wash insurance wise. BTW, Tacomas do well when stuffed up the rear....the Mercedes that hit me was totally screwed up and I just had a bent bumper and some broken hitch parts with no tailgate or rear panel damage!

Got an LED bar comin, fog lights (were back ordered when I ordered my bumper) also on order, and I'll probably eventually get a winch. But here's how she sits now.
