    Hey Guys!

Finally got my DRZ-E converted and plated, my buddy and I rode about 250 miles this weekend on the back roads and fields of Ohio and Kentucky! Here are some pics I managed to get. 1st thing on my list... A new seat! Dirtbike seats aren't meant for 200 mile trips haha My buddy rides a XR650.

Whelp, I'm selling the 690 and with the cash I get out of it as a budget (about 7.8-8k) I've bought a 2007 KTM 525 for $3.5k, and I'll be looking for something more roady like an older v-strom to do 2-up and commute on for about $3.5-4k during the winter.

I like the 690 but I keep wanting to hit the harder and gnarlier trails out here in the mountains. :D

Nice. Those RFS KTMs have a great reputation. I was on the fence on wether to get one of those or another XR. I went with the XR, but those things sure are nice.

I've debated the 300 2-stroke or the 990 adventure for a couple years. Not sure which I'd like more

Depends on if you like gnarly trails more than other riding. I had a 950 Adventure before the 690 and it was great. It could do trails but was taxing and had a small margin of error if you made a mistake or picked a bad line.

Ideally I'd have both, a small trail machine and something like a 950/990 that can be used to tour or hit some moderate dirt.

Finally found a new dualsport. Selling my 04 MZ-125sx and found a pristine 2006 KTM 400-EXC, 105 hours, 1300 miles. Super excited to bring it back to SLC over fall break.

My 2009 Yamaha TW200. I'm an old man, and this is an old man's bike. I love it. Picked it up 6 weeks ago.....;) Any NJ guys ride Wharton State Forest in the Pine Barrens? I'm down there a lot.

Yeah I'm torn between what I would like and use more. I ride trials now and would do well on trails on adventure bike. But a lot of my friends are pretty serious woods riders and there's no way I could take a bike bike with them. Maybe I'll buy 2 new bikes and scratch the idea of a new truck?!?
