I've done it twice. It's not difficult, the only PITA is that the nut on the flange is staked. Do it on a hill and I don't think you'll lose any oil haha

Pull off the flange, pry out the old one with a screwdriver and tap the new one in. Done.
I can't for the life of me understand why the rear output has a dust cover, but the front doesn't. Kinda pisses me off.

Most likely they already have a larger ID for fluid, you should be good.

FINALLY wired up my e locker. Nevermind the fact that it says winch controls. Still need to get the right cover plate. So stoked to try it out this weekend.

Replaced the front output seal, started at 1:30, finished at 3:05. Thank you 45ACP for the pics, you're right the nut was the hardest part.

Honestly, I think the dust shield may have been why it failed, there was a lot of crap inside the shield, most likely churned up from the latest deep water crossing. Either way, it's ready for more.

Successful camping trip to slick rock. The only problem I had was losing my phone in the river.. lol. I was pretty limited to what I could do due to the lack of sliders, but I'm pretty happy with how my street queen did out there. Heres a few Go pro shots I took at the campsite.

In working the price with the seller he would only take my offer if he could keep the caps, $100 to include the caps. I found caps for less than that so I went without. I don't mind it being black for now, we'll see if I feel the need to get center caps :)

Yeah good call on saving $100 on the caps. I've seen them On ebay for like $50 or less.

Cranked up the truck for the first time in 3 weeks. Started up first try. Felt good to be sitting back behind the wheel. Really need new seats though.

Haha yeah my seats are a bit worn out. Last off road trip I felt my seat sag a bit more. Would like to get some seats with 5 point harness
