I have the normal wheelen (non-LED) hideaways in my fogs in front and in my turn signals in back, w/ amber bulbs. Barely room for the bulbs to fit in with the turn signal bulbs, but I got em nestled in there. I think the two bulbs actually touch each other.

i usually make brackets that mount to the grill (in the case of the taco) or bolt up to the radiator support brackets (the dodge so i have most airflow)

i have vertex strobes in the tail lights(R) corner lights(WHITE) and reverse lights(Red), two tir 3s RED in the back glass and in the grill.and a galls TN R/W dash light thats bright as shit

the dodge i have 4 tir3s in the grill making an X 2 white 2 red, 4 tir3s on the tool box, one in 2 in the back 2 in the sides (red) and a Galls TN Dash light in the windsheild (R/W) and im installing whelen 90w strobes in the future

all synced together and all on a switch box,

    heres the taco

edit thats when i had 4 whelen slim misers in the dash but it was way over the top (hey i was new)

I have an 08 Tacoma 2 Dual B/W Talons in the Windsheild and 4 Sound Off B/W Ghosts in the grille 2 Whelen Slimlighters R/R in the Back. I use the Grille Lights at night ( Talon F.B. is a SOB)and use Both sets Dash and Grille during the day where the Flashback has no effect

Would like to mount them inside rear window at to. Don't want anything like steel as it could cause damage to someone in an accident. Thanks

I realize this is a 4 year old thread, but I will bump it in case anyone else needs an answer... see my link in signature for pics and commentary of my grille light installation, using scrap steel cut, painted, and bolted to the radiator supports.
