    Hello,

I am looking to purchase a set of 4 or 5 TRD Beadlock Style Wheels in Graphite color. The part number for these wheels is: PTR18-35090GR

I have looked high and low and no one seems to carry these.

Here is an example of the rims I am looking for (below). If you have any, or know where I can order them, please let me know. Thanks!

    nothing cool
Those are tricky to get for sure. Might as well get the black ones now before the TRD Pro comes out and they make those impossible to get. Ive seen the gray ones come up for sale on this forum a few times. Good luck

That's ridiculous, you can just google Tacoma Baja vin number, and you are good to go. Will they ask you for a registration or insurance card as proof? or is proof that you are competent enough to research a subject, using a search engine good enough?

I did a quick Google search for a Baja vin and got this... VIN: 5TFLU4EN3EX100704

Quick question about these wheels, I'm kind of on the fence with getting the bronze, since black and graphite are extinct. Is the beadlock portion real or faux? It looks like it's removable. Op's photo shows some of the hex nuts missing etc... Do you need to take this trim ring on/ off everytime you get new tires? I barely trust tire shops to breath near my wheels.

Almost everytime I take a vehicle in to have tire or balancing work done. They can't touch a wheel without scratching, pitting, adding new rash to a wheel. Just want to make sure it's not a major project to disassemble this beadlock for simple or unexpected tire work, such as a flat repair etc..

These are fake beadlocks, the ring is just for show. My tire shop did not bitch and whine when I had new tires installed on these wheels. And there was no damage from to the finish.

It seems to vary by Toyota warehouse. Some are very strict, like those in CA. If you tried to order a full set of these wheels you had to provide a valid VIN and a police report showing your original wheels had been stolen. Other regions seem to have their own policies.

I love the bronze. I never installed thr fake bead lock. 2 reasons 1 I think it looks wrong second I can only imagine how much crap gets stuck behind therr and scratches the crap out of the wheels in winter.udyqu5u9_d23972388e725cf8df644d8cb687da34131e9500.jpg
I filled the existing screw holes with little stainless set screws
    Old pic! No retrofits!

I kind of want the graphite's over my black ones... if anyone local might be down for a trade. At the time I bought mine, I couldn't find anyone willing to sell the graphite ones to me.

Looks nice with the white, I was wondering what it would look like on a Super White, DC. Did you re-use the previous stock wheel lug nuts, or do these require something more exotic?

They require low profile, spline drive lugs. I got mine thru Discount Tire, cheaper than the TRD ones.

Is anyone under the impression that finding the bronze ones will become easier once the TRD pro comes out?

One thing in addition to the lug nuts the Tpms for alloy would be required also right?

Obviously I am looking at thesea bead lock style wheels myself.

    Happy hunting.

Yes, you need the spline drive lug nuts and if you are coming from steel wheels you will need four new TPMS. If you are coming from one of the TRD alloys, you can reuse your TPMS. The Toyota Spline Drive lugs are pricey, though they do come with lock lugs.

The bronze actually are the easiest ones to get... or at least were at the start of the year when I was looking for mine. Everyone had the bronze for sale. The black ones were hard to find, most people wouldn't sell them. The graphite ones were impossible. No one would release them or sell them. Only a very few number of members here seemed to be able to get a set of them.

The graphite ones are some of the best looking in my opinion I wish I could find them.
