I will get better night shots hopefully completed. Good God Jesus! This was a total bitch of a whore demon! I hope it's worth it.

You see the white U shaped light under the projector? Well, it only operates w/ the parking lights and up - otherwise no DRL. I wonder if I can use the DRL led located right below to activate a relay to power the "U"? I think it may be to much for the LED 'dem is itty bitty wires! What do you think? Keep in mind I also have some new fog lights to go in that have a halo ring. I don't know, just don't wanna resemble our Hispanic brethren (if 1 tail pipe is good, 8 is better).

Now time for serious discussion, seriously. I wonder if I should just let the off-road shop down the street put in the lift. I would be paying just for labor since I think I have everything I need. Now that begs the question, you've got everything (including tools except air but all kinds of 18v goodies) then why don't you JUST FU*KING DO IT YOURSELF! It looks easy (well definitely driveway doable). Let's say $100/hr @ 10 hours that's a grand. Is it worth the time savings, cussing, etc? I mean hell, I spent $700 on the All-Pro UCAs so when you look at it like that...

I've done clutches, rearends, pulled motors, hell I just re-did my ENTIRE stereo + sub/box -the right way like pulling whole interior. Shat, I don't know.

The problem is I'm alone, no help and I'm afraid I'll get stuck then tuck my tail and pull out the AAA card.

    What say Ye?

    P.S. What's 6,000 mile headlights going for?

Various night shots - driver is stock except for Hella 80/100 bulbs. Don't ask me pic is what is what. I think the driver side is brighter b/c it's bouncing off the white house and the (new) pass side is not bolted down all the way and aimed.

It lookd half-assed because it is at the momentUndo your inner fender and pull the bumper straight froward. This gave me enough room to slide the headlight out. You see why I'm thinking og letting the shop do this in 2 hours instead of me in 3 days?

Ridicule (mainly on the lift) plesae.

OK, my ultra-Gauge is saying pending trouble code P0172 & p0175 which is one bank might run rich. This immediately after I put on a boost gauge. I tapped in to the boost port on the SC then used the supplied T fitting. 1 end to SC, 1 end capped and final end which has a restrictive orifice in it to the gauge. The gauge also has the restrictive orifice. Now when I get on it I get the alarm. Originally I used different fitting at the SC w/ no restriction and did not get the warning nor did I get on it either. Keep in mind it still had the restriction at the gauge. What gives? How could a boost gauge cause it to possibly run rich? Maybe I should remove the restrictive orifice at te SC and see what happens. Keep in mind thid is only when I get on it and it says POTENTIAL code.

    Please help TW

See if this makes sense - bigger injectors start dumping fuel, hence a potential rich condition, but as boost builds the stoichiometric ratio is restored therefore no actual tripped code. Make some sort of sense.

Yah. But you were doing fine by yourself. Lol.

This has turned into your personal build/help thread. Guess a lot of un-subbing happened when it went off topic.

As far as installing your lift, you can pay someone, but I for one want to know exactly what has or hasn't been done to my truck. I do recommend you find some good local guys. I have a few around me and I wouldn't be half as excited about mods with out them. (Assholes lol)

On the code, there are boost threads that can give better advice than I. I would search them out if I was you. I'd probably plug the line to make sure it is related to the gauge. If the code alarm clears and doesn't return I'd suspect a leak somewhere. Maybe the restriction is allowing more pressure to build and a hairline crack in the tee or other joint opens up.

I totally agree with you but allpro (as of 8/12/14) still says they are 2 weeks until getting the UCA's from powdercoat so that put me at 3 weeks at least. You know, I am in AL, I could put the Toytec progressive AAL and the 285s on the rear. Hell I might just leave it like that! PU**YWAGON!

What I want are opinions on are the actual install. I would have NO help, just me. From everything I've read/watched it doesn't look out of my wheelhouse. I have all the tools (18v and hand, no air) but here comes the question. If this offroad shop says $589 (making this # up) to install everything I provide, should I do it. If done myself it would be my luck it would take 2 solid days ending in a tow and a lot of cussing. Shat, I don't knowwhat to do.
