I debaged my truck a few months ago and I've tried wax, goo gone, and many other "smudge" removers and the outline of "tacoma" will not go away. Just wanted to see what you guys have used if anyone has had this problem. Thanks

You are going to have to use a rubbing compound or a fine cut.

Try and find some 3M perfect it. It is fine cut and works great for light imperfections.

If yours is sun faded there is nothing you can do.

There is always the option wet sanding it with a 1000 then 1500 grit. Then polish to new but I doubt you will need that.

I just used a fine cut when I did mine and it went away. Truck was 6 years old at the time.

I see you have a dark truck. Great product to have, works wonders on swirl marks and light scratches. You really really have to try and ruin paint while using it. It is a very fine cut. Some auto stores carry it if you search around or hit up a auto paint supply and they will have something similar, or order online.

Recently debadged my 2011 and had the same outline problem. I tried the clay bar and wax approach. I did not get all of it, but it's about 90% gone now and really hard to notice unless you're close up and look at it in the right angle.

Woops, sorry. I replied to this post instead of starting a new one on accident. Ignore
