Post up if you live/work/play from Glenwood Springs to Aspen, I see some damn fine Tacos on the roads here all the time - I know you guys are around!

Colorado is a big state and since most of the Colorado Events thread guys seem to be Denver area or Eastern slope, I figure anyone interested in meets, trail runs, non-toyota events on the other side of the divide could use a thread for planning

Hopefully within the month I'll be taking my truck to safari-ltd in Junction to get my rear air locker installed. Then it's going to be time for some trail runs! Possibly immediately afterwards...

This Tuesday I'm gonna camp overnight up Pearl Pass to take in the scenery and meteor shower. I'll be driving up from Aspen sometime tuesday, and drive back wednesday. We were planning on going over and down into Crested Butte, but time won't allow it for me. This will be just a short drive up, but 4x4 is definitely recommended, and extra ground clearance helps. From Aspen it's only a two or three hour drive depending on where we set up camp. It'll just be me and a buddy but if anyone wants to join up it'd be great to have the company!

Thanks Luke, I'll definitely drop in on that site often

James, sorry I never got back to you about the pass... The pictures are where I got stuck, we started getting a good amount of runoff right down the trail, and I lost traction. In that one picture my buddy is standing next to the rock after I slid on to it. At that same moment, a local man came from over the pass and said that that was the first time anyone had crossed it this season, he had been clearing the snow the last couple days. He had a beautiful long travel old International pickup with 37s I think, but I can't find the pics I took of it.

Anyway we camped just below that spot and had a good time, but it was a bit demoralizing. With all the highs I've had in that truck, I've been in a low for awhile now with it. I bought a new air locker last spring but haven't had time to install it, now I don't have any money for it. I always intended to put armor on it as well but again my plans for the truck are becoming less feasible. So I didn't get back on TW for a while after that. BUT I hope you did still get to go over at some point this fall

A few of us in the Roaring Fork are planning a trip to Hole in the rock south of Moab on 3/21 if any one is interested. More than likely will camp at the half way point.

Right now it's 2 Tacos and a JK.

Live work and play in Glenwood! Checking the sir as well. Anyone know of a good shop that could help me build up my truck?

Hey Derrick, what sort of stuff are you interested in doing? This shop in Junction specializes in Toyotas, but I've never actually dealt with them

I've actually heard a lot about them and was thinking about having them help me with my truck! I've already done quite a bit to my truck my self but the next couple of things I want to do might require a professional.
