    i keep seeing this under my hood on the passenger side and don't know what supposed to mount there.

    it sits right on top of the front passenger wheel. it looks like some sort of mount. i didn't know if might be for a compressor or something. it has three bolts sticking up.

    For your year model it was most likely for the ABS actuator in a PreRunner

    That is where the ABS actuator mounts on all models, EXCEPT for
    the TRD Off road

    i just thinking i could fab up something to use those bolts to hold my compressor. it looks like a great spot and not to difficult to make something up to mount a compressor on and then bolt to that.

    If yours is a 4x4 it probably won't have the actuator. It's built into the master cylinder.
