Hello, I'm having a hell of a time finding simple pics of how some of you put your light bars in the lower valance or bumper area of your first gens. Lost of info on second gens, and the search function is leading me to more noise than answers.

Is there a simple mounting method for this area to get it centered in that opening in the bumper down there? Can someone who has conquered this mount please be kind enough to share detailed pics?

There is a black 1st gen, with a blue devel badge that keeps coming up, but I'm sketched out mounting it directly to the top of the bumper and letting it hang. Really wanting to know where the magic spot is to mount it secure behind the bumper.

I mounted mine behind the lower valence and it looks something like this.

I will post pics of my ghetto-ish DIY L-bracket job in a few minutes to show what I did.

Edit: give me some time to edit and post them. Or pm me.

Yes! this is exactly what I want to do. what exactly did you mount into? did you use the stock side mounts that came with the light? I'm trying to get the exact effect you have on yours. can you show more pictures of where it's mounted, and how, etc?

    man, thanks so much!!!

I love the front end on this year. This is really nice. Luckily kansas isn't a front license plate state so I don't have to split mine.
