Had a ready-lift installed and put XD Monsters with 275/65/18 Cooper ST Maxx tires and had to remove the mud flaps because it was lightly rubbing when turning to right so I removed the mud flaps and had no rubbing. Was pulling slightly right so I went to NTB and had an alignment done(was going to after the lift anyway). Now they both tires rub the fender flares when turning in either direction until you turn far enough for the tire to clear the fender flare. Why would it not rub before alignment but now they both rub?

Attached is a copy of the crappy alignment sheet they gave me that I can't figure out before/after or right/left. Below are the numbers I asked for and they wrote them down but I don't think they even tried.

    Toe .0 to + .5
    Caster + 2.4 or more
    Camber .0 to + .8

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks for any replies!

It is possible the alignment was not done to spec. I had 265/70/17s installed on my stock truck with no rubbing. I had all kinds of rubbing when I had a shop install billies 5100 set at 1.75. I had it realign and was perfect.

Ok, took it to Firestone that does most of the lifted trucks in my area(truck toys next door) Caster was set to -8 on both sides as shown on their machine. They adjusts Caster to 1.2 and 1.3 (was all the adjustment they could get out of it. Wheels now set dead in the middle of the fender wheel and are only slightly rubbing the inner wheel liner now. Drives a lot better too with less walking at highway speeds. Not sure why they can't get more caster out of the adjustment, maybe something with the Readylift leveling kit?

Wake up old thread. I currently have 265/70/16 on my 2011. I installed a 1.5" lift and now the camber is way out at the top. I'm taking for an alignment but I'm worried the tires are going to rub the UCA's. As it is now there's only about 1/2" between tire and UCA. Once they fix the camber I'm concerned it's going to rub. I'm due for tires. Should I get 245 or 255 tires instead of 265?

You should be fine. It's adjusted from the lower arms so the top clearance won't change much.

It's actually a little closer to the piece that branches off of the UCA not the actual UCA itself. That's what I was thinking that if it was pushed out at the bottom and naturally pushing in at the top that it would start rubbing. But hopefully not.

Not sure if that's what it's called or not. It's the arm going from the UCAA down to the wheel hub
