I'm thinking of selling my 2008 white trd 4x4 double cab long bed tacoma.

It's got just under 33k miles, and has a leer 122 camper shell, some rhino running boards, and blacked out badges and powder coated stock wheels. I also installed a back up camera in the license plate frame and replaced the 6 disc cd player with a touch screen dvd player.

KBB says it's value is approx $27k, but that seems really high for the age of the truck. What do you all think it's worth?

Any help is appreciated. I'm thinking of getting rid of it because I'm looking to downsize my vehicle fleet and stick with my honda fit.

Probably worth around 12k. I will buy it today..

Or we can straight up trade.. I have an 01 tacoma (technically that is downsizing right??) haha.

If KBB says its worth it, you might as well start the listing there right?

I think you could easily pull anywhere from $24k-$26k on it...

unless you want to trade for an 02 double cab :) then it would only be worth about $12k - $14k and be an even trade

I agree with this. when I picked mine up (06 white trd sprt DC) it has 65K on it and they were asking 25K for it. I walked out with the truck at 21K, with some goodies!!!

    Tom,

I am local and looking for a Tacoma. I am headed down to Cambell to look at a Black one but really want a white one. I am good for 25,600 if you are interested. Give me a call at 650-996-3489 if you would like to get together and discuss.

    Chris

Sorry I've been vacationing in Hawaii so haven't been checking this thread as much as I normally would. Thanks for all the input everyone. I still haven't decided whether or not to sell it, but all of your input is greatly appreciated. It's just so hard to think of letting go of my truck! Bummer that it prob won't go as KBB marks it, but pretty good considering how little it's value has dropped overall. When I finally decide what to do, I"ll be sure to fill you guys in on the details and offers for sale if I sell it.

    Thanks!
    Tom
