Don't think I can make it. Busted CV boot and I can't work on my truck at my condo complex. I'll have a new axle installed before next month's run though.

I noticed it at our meet up spot for Cleghorn. Decided to take it up anyway since we had a large convoy. Also, I went on vacation for a few weeks after that so the truck just sat.

Not sure what caused it but I replaced both axles at the same time last year.

I should have it replaced in the next 2-4 weeks. Are you planning on going to this meet (October 4)?

I would like to, but I'm not 100 yet. I'll be going to LV the following weekend so we'll see if I can afford the gas money for both lol.

I should have asked this before deciding on whether to go or not. Is Coyote Canyon trail a difficult one? I've never been there and would love to go...even with a greasy CV boot.

Its an easy 4wd trail. A 2wd with a locker might be able to make it, but it's been a while since i've been there and they just reopened it because of big horn mating season so it might be a little neglected. That said there is a year round stream that we have to cross a few times and that might not work out too well on an exposed cv.

So you're referring to the Lower Coyote Canyon? According to Dirtopia.
