I had a set of KM2s on my Jeep. Still had some tread left at about 35k miles. Had them balanced when they were first mounted. Had some cupping, but it went away when I rotated them. Great tire, just killed my gas mileage.

My 2010 DCLB. Taken last November. Currently swapping out bumper, blacking out wheels, and putting different (black) steps on it. Only chrome left is the emblem... Leave it? Black it out?

What headlight housings are these? I'm thinking of doing the HID retrofit but don't want to have chrome of course!

3" Pro Comp- was done before I bought the truck. 33" nitro trail grapplers. They look great, but they are noisy. I won't put them back on next time.

Ive always had great luck with the KM2, on my 3rd set two on the FJ and 1 on the Tacoma. Rotate and balanced every time the oil was changed.

I have the BFG AT KO and would not recommend them if you plan on getting into the mud at any point. They are absolutely AWFUL at clearing the sticky claylike mud that we have in southeast Texas. Now that I think about it, they really aren't worth a S%&T on anything wet. They're a pretty good tire on dry stuff like sand and rocks (when aired down) and will last quite a while if you're like me and spend 97% of your time commuting and travelling on paved roads. All that being said, I won't buy them again because for the money, there are a lot better options out there.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
How much lift did you lose on the front end after installing the front bumper? I'm looking to put the same bumper on mine but am worried about loss of clearance. :help:

Was wondering what those wheels looked like against the MGM color. Looks like they are a couple shades lighter. How do you like them?

I think the Tacoma is to trucks like Harley is to motorcycles, many change them to personalized them to their taste.

    Here's mine.

Stock, then blacked out emblems, wheels and tinted windows, then OME Lift and All-Pro armor.

When my Hankooks arrive at the Tire Shop they'll install them on my new wheels and I'll post updated pics... right now it looks like I skipped Leg Day :-\

I'm leaning toward some Goodyear Duratrac at the moment, but haven't decided yet. I know several people who are really pleased with their Cooper Discoverer A/T so I'll look at them too. I've run Wrangler MTR before and really liked them, but I wont go that route right now because of the amount of commuting I do.

Got a black DCLB and the build starts all over. With the last 5 years of working on mine combined with years of scanning the TW threads I know exactly what I want... Just with the new baby it will come down to time vs money.

Wouldn't they let you swap parts over? A guy down here traded a prerunner in on a 4x4 and drove both the new and old Tacoma across the street to swap lift, rims/tires, and a few other things.
