    Passed the 100 mile break in. I feel like its just a touch louder than the TRD. I LOVE IT. Already been yelled at for making too much noise :D

    Oh oh oh, some rich guy in the rich side of town, i came up the big hill full of expensive houses in second gear like i normally would and he was all waving his arms up an down trying to flag me over so he could tell me to quiet down. He is lucky i didn't do a pull up the hill at about 40mph instead of 25

    I looked at him, smiled and continued on. I cant really do anything but try to come up it in 3rd and stress the torque converter and it would only be maybe 1/4 quieter :eek:

    Yeah I am finding that my aFe is a bit louder now than when I first installed it.

    AR, did you find any bolt creep when you went to tighten them up after a few miles? I found just a touch. I haven't been back under since then though....should be fine.

    Installed it, started it and let it just come up to temp, then shut it down and tightened again. There may have been some but it wasn't much. I have now been about 110 miles and i will be tightening again in the morning just to be sure

    BTW, just as a goof, while I was entering an aFe contest on Facebook, I posted asking if they were looking to hire any engineers. They got back to me quickly telling me to send in my resume and they would make sure it got into the right hands...too bad I don't want to live in the L.A. area.

    Still loving the AFE cat back. Only thing i don't like so far is the surface rust on the welds but oh well...it has dramatically less rust than the stock set up :eek:
