Saw this white double cab at like 34th street and shea like an hour or so ago. Had hids, nice wheels, and some sort of lift.

 

Nice truck but my CBI bumper doesn't cut below the tail lights across, so it's someone else's kick ass storm trooper.

here is where mine was a couple days later pulling 4500lbs of loaded trailer and wishing I had re-geared.

I went twice in college. Definitely a very very fun time.

 

I saw this guy at lake Pleasant today. I don't know if he is a TW member, he past me and didn't say "hi".

I saw a truck just like that in Show Low on Monday. I think it was a TX Pro...didn't get a long enough look tho

 

Ha ha, thought that looked like the playa.. did you get stuck in that 10hr delay getting in?


Edit: That dust had a way of gutting into EVERYTHING!!! Heard this year was the best yet..

 

Thank god early arrival so only 2.5 hr getting in (due to intense vehicle searches which ended after our group and resulted in 25-40 minute entrances for others on Saturday early arrival), after the rain on monday some people took 24-26hrs to get in when they closed the entrance all monday. The weather was amazingly good as apparently the last 3 years have been hence the huge 69k attendance now. I was kinda wishing for some serious white outs to snap people into realizing what the event was originally.

Yeah my ex turned off the recirculate on the way out years ago and 4 years later my old honda was puffing playa out of the vents every day even after trying everything to clear out the vents which had foam to reduce noise and hold Playa.

 

Oh I was part of some epic white outs years ago.. Those are just part of the experience. Getting back to camp at the end of the night, having a thick layer of playa coating every inch of your body!!

I need to get back up there. Went to college om Reno, so it was always an easy trip back then. The twist is that now my parents want me to take them.... That in itself will add a whole new twist!!

So did you go for the whole thing, or just a few days? Really amazing how big this event has gotten. For the people that haven't gone, it seems most of them think that it's just some big desert party/rave, which couldn't be more wrong.. I think it's cool that different cities are now buying some of the bigger art displays to put up as public art projects. Reno has several pieces places all around town


Edit: holy shit! 24 to 26 hour delay? That's just crazy!! You really lucked out man! Few of my friends were part of the 10 hour club.. but I'm sure that everyone in line made the absolute most out of it
