I was never a big fan of gold so my vote goes to color matching the rest of the truck to the fenders..

This is true. youre either going to have to change the suspension up a lot or cut the shit out of it.. I've don't it both ways cutting is cheaper like a lot cheaper.

I've been throwing the idea of this style cut around since I picked the iroks up.. since the front is stretched at full stuff and the tires straight I'm going to be rubbing the radiator support so I'm going to have to cut a lot of it out too

Yeah that was a while ago. He works for Jimmy's 4x4 now building Ultra4 cars. Built Lauren Healy's last rig and they're working on his new one. Awesome guy.

He ended up selling that to a guy up here... he somehow made it into a 4 seater? I haven't seen pics of the re-build yet though.

Ok so I just finished my sas redo new front spring hangers/cross bar, adjusted. The shackle mounts and reused the same springs now my truck sags on the drivers side WTF.
The only thing I can think of is I didn't mark what spring came off what side didn't think it would matter as the truck sat level before I redid the sas. Any ideas

I would love to have those number. I'm right around 26" on 37's but I'm on leafs. I haven't measured my up or down numbers but it has plenty of both and I'd like to keep it that way. How far forward did you stretch the front? I'm about +3" over stock and am still going to have issues with the firewall on the new meats.

I only moved my axle forward 2.5-3" from stock. Seemed to fit good right there with the steering links and all that mumbo jumbo. Basically shoved the steering box as far forward as I could get it (pushed the very front body mount/core support mount forward a tad too) and set up the drag link/tie rod. Tires don't get into the pinch weld because with a 3 link, my axle moves forward under flex, not back like yours does with leafs. Couldn't have worked out any better :D

Must be nice! My steering box is pretty much as far forward as it can go. If I move the axle forward anymore my tie rod and drag link will hit so it looks like I'm cutting the firewall out  What's funny is I'm going to have to cut out the firewall and I'll be close to rubbing the back of the headlight with one tire stuffed while pointing straight ahead so I've got plenty of cutting to do on the core support and fender

Was looking at drive line angles and all that yesterday and im so pumped I don't have to run anything over a 4" slip on front or rear. hell yeah to linking the front. My old truck had to have a 12" slip in the front due to the amount of flex I had on leafs.

Ya I had to trim out a bunch of the core support and fender to get the tire to not hit at full flex with the tires straight. They still rub the inner fender at one point but whatever, it's nice and rounded so that metal will get polished a bit :D Thats the best part about fitting big tires! Cutting everything out to clear them lol

Yup, when leafs flex the axle moves forward and backward quite a bit. I am super happy I linked this truck! My stock drivelines bolted up and don't need any modification :D

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Did you do any gusseting behind the hoops or a cage you might get quite a bit of movement on that hoop if left without gusseting behind it. I would support it as high as you can but buddies hoop cracked in half at the middle of the tube because his gusset was too low on the hoop.
