    Gah, so jealous!!
Like I said somewhere else, I definitely have to join you guys one of these years. Especially if it's a two week trip, that definitely makes the drive out to ID, WY, and CO worth it.

Just finished going through the whole thread. Awesome pictures, you guys!!
And the 3 pictures per post is brilliant! I should've done that for my ecuador photos in the bird thread
Ben, I read in one of Monte's posts that you used 32's for this trip, right? How'd those do?
When I make it out there I'll likely only have my current 31's or 32's if I get them before then.

Yea he was on 32s both years. This year he was wanting either bigger tires or really just real armor. He drung a lot on Shoshone but you don't have to do that trail. All the others are totally fine with 32s. If you have good suspension and good travel should be fine open diffs too.

Otherwise have a locker. Haha only reason Ben can go where he goes lol

Skids would be wise though. And everyone used their sliders on Morrison.

Otherwise really the trails in the San Jaun mountains in co are super easy. Other then Poughkeepsie. There are plenty of moderate trails around everywhere. And plenty of ones that'll get you in trouble haha

Yeah I don't know when I'll get a locker, probably won't be before I get out there. I'll probably just stick to the easier trails in that case, but who knows, I've gotten through a lot of trails so far without one even though I've definitely felt the need for one.
Hmmm...might look into some skids, then.
I probably won't make it out there until 2016, but maybe earlier, depending on what I'm doing next year around this time. When are these trails snowed in, on average?

Yea you'll still have a blast. Keep me posted. I'd love to help out and I'm a pretty good spotter and know how to drive a not so outfitted rig. Lines are everything

I did and he liked it and replied pretty quickly. I replied again and now just waiting...

    Your welcome :p

Cool, I'll definitely keep that in mind. It might be 2017 because I might be in Ecuador for the summer during the next two years, but we'll see.
    For sure, for sure.

Definitely will let you guys know when I head out there!
Oh for sure, I've done a few tricky trails with my truck thus far. I even got through slickrock trail in NorCal (https://www.flickr.com/photos/109053146@N07/sets/72157646652893415/) on stock suspension and my 31's with a great spotter with only minor damage. Picking the good lines is definitely everything!

Oh and *You're* for the last part of your last post :p

Yea you have sliders you'll be fine :D haha

There is a sweet lt kit for your trip of front suspension I'd rock too if I had our truck. Not super wide either. I forgot what it was called though..

Haha, yeah that's what I figured.
Eeeehhhhhh, I just did a quick search and came up with a TC lt kit but I don't know if I want to do lt...that's a lot of money that I'd rather put towards a rear arb air locker and, at this age, maintenance...

Now quick, post some more pics 'cause the thumbnail on the TW home page shows a picture of my truck on slickrock from the link I posted

Nah it's a different company. Started with a B I think..was cool looking. Saw it on a 4runner. Flex was awesome.
