    Phone: Samsung Galaxy S5
    Mirroring device: Chromecast
    Head unit: Pioneer Appradio 3
Effect: Full control of my phone using my head unit.

Hi Everyone: I wanted to share this with you all, especially for you Samsung Galaxy S5 users.
I am pretty new here, just got my Gen 2 a couple of months back. Had a Wrx Hatch before this and a Evo X before that. Happy to have a truck again though.. Anyhow I digress... My Tacoma did not have an Aux port, and I find commuting as a great opportunity to make some calls, so a great Bluetooth would be quite handy.

I opted for the Pioneer App Radio 3 over the Parrot Asteroid headunit. I saw some guys post on Youtube of their Pioneer head units providing full phone mirroring and touch control. The Galaxy S5 however, is a PITA!! I had to teach myself how to root my phone, install Philz touch Wiz, flash a custom rom to set SELinux to Permissive, and trick my chromecast in order to get this to work... So worth it. :D

Here is a video of it in action if you care to check it out!

Awesome work OP! I love rooting Android phones, loading custom roms. I didn't know you had to jump through that many hoops to get this to work on Appradio. Thanks!
