    No, sorry.

It runs down the side and around the back side if the transfer case. Everything stays well above frame level.

a bit of show & go
Woohoo, I've been waiting for an alternative to the apr equal length y-pipes that have been impossible to get. I just placed my order online today.
Damn, just wish the CND $ was doing a bit better.

    Thanks Gadget!

    Awesome!!

When I get board I drive my XRunner up to Baltimore and drive back and forth through the Tunnel. I just cannot believe that it sounds so damn nice with the Spec-U headers, Spec-U exhaust, and 450 RWHP!!!!

it's your maui costumer Tony don'tknow if you remember me . But I'm in the market for your new exhaust system for my 09 pre runner, ,,got long tube headers AFE 3" CAT BACK muffler, ,only thing stock is the Y pipe, ,,so, ,get Y pipe only to make a complete system, or entire URD speck U system with new Y pipe, and sell my soon to be old set up
, is your new complete set up worth all that work, truck is faster that when stock with 35z on it ( 4:88) gears, ,,,,when only thing left to change is the stock Y pipe, ?
    Thoughts please

I was pretty disappointed in the spec u exhaust install on my 2011 DCLB. The equal length header install went as expected and I really like them. However after getting to what I thought was the easy part bolting up the cat back spec U exhaust I found that it did not fit in more than half of the hangars properly and the angle of the exhaust pointed directly towards the center of my differential and required a complete haul over. I got it to work after getting a 16” length of galvanized steel pipe and bending some of the hangar rods and chopping off the side exit into a downward dump but still needs professional attention. I’m incredibly surprised I found nothing while scouring the web about the exhaust not fitting DCLB trucks and even re-checked the website today. After driving the truck around it does perform better for sure and my friends seem to like the sound. It’s nice & quiet in the cab too which I’m very happy about.

The attached photos show the misaligned sections of exhaust, inaccurate location in relation to the hangars and the stress on the hangars while pushing the exhaust into its intended location for proper fitment; also included a shot of my mechanic who was impressed by the quality when unboxing, but also disappointed in the end result. Took 7 hours at least. And I was able to get the driver side headers on with the studs in by lifting the engine and shoving them past the steering shaft which was corroded in place.

I talked to gadget again about the exhaust and there was a line at the end of the note about the exhaust that it does not fit double cab long bed so it’s on me that the exhaust didn’t fit. It’s going to cost an extra $250 to get everything aligned, mounted and welded together correctly which still isn’t breaking the bank on total cost for a high end exhaust.
