new tires !

yeah so i got some new tires. i didn't need new tires , well at first. but while driving home earlier i was trying to avoid hitting something in the road so i swerved to the right just a little... bad idea ! on the right was just tall grass even with the road. WRONG ! there is all so a huge piece of concrete hidden under all of the grass. so while i was trying to avoid something that probably would not have done anything i took out both of the right side tires and scratched this shit out of my stock rims. i'm surprised that this is the only damage and that i didn't wreck, it felt so violent when i hit it. i'm probably going to take the truck in and let someone else check it out a little more. today sucks.

Sorry to hear that, hope thats all that is wrong. My younger brother just totaled his Camry a week ago by trying to dodge something in the road. I'll stick to just hitting whatever animal it is. Good luck man. I usuall try to straddle shredded tires and small objects. Look around on here for factory tires and rims they are selling them for cheap.

Man that sucks! Sorry to hear that bro. My second day owning an F150 I hit a wooden patio furniture set??? on the highway doing about 80. There was heavy fog at night.

My brother was turning around in someones driveway and went a couple inches in their grass, and they had spikes at the corner of their drive way. WTF destroyed his tire.

Well glad you are ok! Definately get you suspension checked out and the axles. You never know you might have bent something or cracked a axle.

I am in Auburn, and might be selling my wheels and tires if my government stimulus check will come!

Pat go get a 4-wheel alignment...something hitting that hard can even knock your rear end tracking off. Also eyeball how your front tire/wheel centers (front to back) within the wheelwell...use the other side for ref

ouch. glad ive never hit anything like that before. The problem with just hitting whatever animal is in the road is the fact that the front of these trucks would have tons of damage if it was at highway speed and bigger than a cat or a raccoon. This is yet another reason im building a big bumper and grille guard for my truck right now- theres alot of animals out here in the Pacific northwest.
