Has anyone put a leveling kit on their tacoma? I have a 2013 double cab long bed limited with 18" wheels. I'm looking to raise the front end and get some bigger tires....any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

The most popular leveling kit is the adjustable bilstein 5100. You can use the factory spring or replace it with an aftermarket.

Basically it boils down to budget and application. If you're the average weekend off roader and don't have $1500+ to spend, the 5100 route is certainly the way to go from everything I've read here on TW.

Wet Okole TRD seat covers, SnugTop Super Sport, Bilsteins 5100 front 1.75, Bilstein 5100 rear, 1/2" Toytec AAL, Swaybar relocate kit, differential drop, ND4's fog light anytime, Relentless Fabrication brackets with Rigid Industries D2 with AirOnBoard center switch 923B, rear view mirror relocate bracket, N-Fab front light bar
I put Bilstein 5100 on the front set at 1.75 with my factory springs. I put Bilstein 5100 on the rear with a 1/2" Toytec AAL. I pull trailers and have a camper shell on my vehicle thus I put the AAL on.

Measure from the center of the hub to the fender to get you height differences. This will let you know how much you want to go up in front to level.

I did not want my vehicle level.

My truck is an 2013 Off-Road and stock it was 20.25" front and 21.5" rear (without shell). Now it is 22" front and 23" rear. I put the camper shell on and my truck did not lower any.

You can see the front is now 1.75" higher just as set on the Bilsteins. If I did nothing to the rear of the vehicle, the front would be .5" higher than the rear. If your vehicle is like mine, you would use the next lower setting on the Bilsteins to be level.

My vehicle rides and handles great. Hope this will help some.

I vote for the Toytec Boss coil overs. Super ride. Easy to install. Once I found out that a spacer was basically a more difficult install, I just ponied up the monies for the good stuff. So far I'm extremely satisfied. Tire choice is also going to play a HUGE roll in how it handles and feels.

Lifts of this sort will not help you fit larger tires. You can put the same sized tires on a stock truck then you can a lifted truck and they will both bottom out the same because your not changing the geometry of the suspension. All you do with this kind of lift is put more pre load on the truck which = less downtravel and also = a crappy ride on rough roads compared to stock IMO.

5100's all around with OME 884 at 0. Weathertechs, Carhartt seat covers. BFG KO2's 265/70/17. T4R SEMA wheels. 18% tint on front windows. General Springs HD 4 leaf pack, Leer 100 XR shell.
I just got mine finished yesterday. did 5100's all around with the fronts set at 0 and OME 883 coils

I cant compare the ride against anything but the stock setup but it rides nice got a great alignment and im very happy.

brought the front up 1 and 1/4" and still have about a half inch of rake.

thanks for all the information, I still have about 20000 miles left on my original tires so I have a little time before i do anything so i will keep watching the boards for similar subjects.
