Some nice 4X opportunities West of Clara Peak, down 31 mile road/565 (West of Espanola). I am planing on putting something together for this area around mid-late Sept, once I change my belts and hoses and get new tires.

4Runners are awesome, I'd like to get one someday. I have to get new tires, and would prefer new shocks before doing this, so I am thinking a month or so, maybe.

We are going out to the Rio Purco in the morning (end of southern). Doing the regular run... Dune, drop into the wash, obstical 1, titty twisted, moon rocks, snoopy, dragons back, land bridge and back to dune... Somewhere in there, where we feel fit, we will pop off some rounds and what not.
We should be at the southern and unser Wal-Mart (south / west area of parking lot) at about 8-830 to get last bit of provisions in a 2000 silver 4Runner with a game and fish plate, then heading down southern to the dune to air out... Just incase there is anyone last minute wanting to join, pm me your number and I'll contact you in the am...

So my wife and kid are out of town for the next 4 months. Other than the major holidays I am open to hit some trails and really want to get out and see some of NM/CO. If anyone wants to go somewhere let me know! I am not from here so I don't know where to go, but I am good at following, haha.

Count me in, as long as my stock truck can do it, and someone is willing to pull my novice butt out of whatever trouble I get in, hehe

Ok, I have a route sort of picked out. Starting in El rito and ending north of tres piedres.

I have never done it, should be ok for stock trucks and will take some good Navigation skills.

^^ You mean you can't camp in that supercharger? For those bucks I'd a thought they would have tossed in a camp chair or a blanket or something! lol
