This is a Vintage Automobile/Truck towing Hitch; that would clamp on to your rear bumper. The hitch ball is missing, but it goes in that big hole in the center of the bar

CAUTION: It is NOT for our Tacoma's

I recently bought this at a yard sale that had some vintage auto parts; and thought it was interesting.

It seems to be from the 1930's - 1940's, when vehicles had real metal bumpers.

When I saw the word Tacoma, cast in to the bar, I just chuckled. Granted, the Tacoma reference, is probably where it was made; just funny to see it.

. I already found pics of the assembly being used; and also another one on eBay.

Those heavy iron clamps and chains, gripped the bumper.

Now here is my thought: How many people on this forum, actually owned a car/truck that had metal bumpers????
