    SOLD GUYS

These 05-11 headlights are retrofitted with the FX-R 3.0 with a 3" lens. The Orbit shrouds that I got from TRS are stripped and custom painted black and red as you can see. The Demon Eye mod was done before the lights were closed up and is passive, meaning there are no LEDs or CCFLs on the inside of the lights, just the HID bulb itself. I decided on the passive demon eyes because they don't break, and won't get me in trouble with the law. It has a couple of small installation scratches on the inside, but nothing noticeable unless you're right up on it.
    Asking $325 shipped.

I created another retro for myself and have my old set I'm trying to sell or trade. I'm selling the retrofitted headlights, and the Morimoto 3Fives bulbs that came with it. The ballast and wiring harness don't come with it so you'll have to purchase from somewhere else in order to use them. (TheRetrofitSource.com sells them a set for $145)

I'm willing to trade for new or slightly used suspension parts. UCAs and rear leaf packs/shocks specifically.

Sorry about the pictures in advance, all I have was a shitty phone pics and it's hard to get it to focus past the lens. The output is a lot brighter than what it looks like in the pictures. Phone cameras tend to try and equalize the amount of light. The lens itself has a bit of sun damage at the top... but no scratches, chips, or cracks.

do these fog up at all? are the scratches on the inside from the install? and do these have angle eyes or demon eyes or whatever? I only ask because it seems like your title says it has them and your description sounds like they don't. thanks

In the 6 months or so I've had them they've never fogged up.

There are 2 different types of demon eyes. There are the type with LEDs on the inside to light up the projector with whatever color you want, and the other that requires you to take the projector apart and paint the whole inside with heat resistant paint. I didn't go the LED route because they are known to fail pretty quickly and red lights on the front of a vehicle can get you in trouble with the law. The way I went causes light reflect back from certain angles in red. Think of it like shining a flashlight in a cat's eyes. It's subtle, looks great, and won't get you in trouble with the law.

No, they don't come with everything required to make them work. They need a wiring harness to plug into your stock wiring, and 2 ballasts to fire them. You can use any type you like, but the ones from TRS I mentioned are about $145 brand new, you can find a used set under $100 if you look hard enough.

The scratches on the inside are from the install. I touched them up pretty good so they're not different colors or anything, but you can tell where they are if you're close and looking for them.

No. You can't do that in any projector. It will severely reduce any light output.

Interesting. Didn't think the light would pick up those parts and display the red so much. Nicely done sir. way to think outside the box

It's proportional to the light you shine on it. If it's just streetlights it looks like a dull red glow, but if you shine a light on it (or a camera flash in this case) it lights up pretty well. I used an engine enamel and it turned out somewhat glossy, so that helps.

    Bump bump

Can't believe nobody wants these. You get a whole setup for $470 (counting buying the harness and ballasts). That's almost a $150 dollars less than some of the bigger sellers on here want, not including what they would charge to put in the demon eyes and custom paint the shroud.
