Crossmember replacement

    2004 SAS Double Cab
    SAS D60 front, Sterling 10.5 rear, 5:38 gears, Lockers
    My son has a 2001 4x4 Sr5 Double Cab. This crossmember in his truck rotted out. I ordered a new one from Toyota. I got the old one all cut out and it's ready to be replaced. Are you guys able to get the new one between the frame rails without modifying the crossmember?

    Is that the rear crossmember? Any crossmember that is bolted in should be able to bolted in with out modification.

    It is in the rear. It's the one that the gas tank strap hooks to. Any tips? We only try'd for a few minutes but it wasn't looking like it was going to go in
