+1 that SR5 package was very difficult find and a new 09 SR5 no longer comes with buckets...

I too find the bench comfortable. However, with my wife requiring the seat to be much closer to the steering wheel than I do, this poses a major inconvenience if she drives, my knees are in my face! This just means that I have to drive if we take the truck, any of you in a similar situation might consider this before buying.

I had this issue when teaching the mrs. to drive a manual in the truck. Left bruises on my knees.

Yo Kelson....Try Discount Auto parts in Cambell Industrial 808-682-1996 91-222 Olai St Kapolei, HI ......i was able to swap my crappy ass bench for a 60/40 with wet okole seat covers for $160 (don't forget to ask for the bolts, when they take it out of the recycled Tacoma).........yeah i know that was a great find, but they were the best place to get 60/40 or buckets on the island......believe me i did like 2 months worth of searching............ check it out. (oh yeah btw, my truck is a '99 reg cab.)

Yeah i know its camo, but what do you expect for $160 for the 60/40 and wetokole's.......i could not pass up the offer. Plus my lower back has been thanking me ever since that faithful day.

i guess if you get 60/40 or buckets from the same gen, they should bolt right in, my 60/40 was able to bolt right in, but my friend had to drill a couple of holes and he installed a washer on the bottom of the truck so my seat was secure in all four corners.....the other three holes mounted right up, just needed to cut some carpet.

From what I hear, the buckets are even easier to install than 60/40 bench, but some larger individuals don't like the bucket seats very much.

Dude the 60/40 was cake (and this is coming from a guy who is not to good with automobiles).......my friend helped me install it in less than 10 minutes......the hardest part was taking off the bolts and putting on the bolts......lol

Or was it drilling a new bolt hole in the floor board of the cab?

I think whether you get buckets or 60/40 you gonna need to drill a new hole...........at least the 60/40 gives you the ability to have 3 peeps in a regular cab :)

You don't have to drill any holes for bucket seats in the 2nd Gens unless you had a 60/40 to begin with.

I didnt even know that 60/40s were available for gen 2 tacos. Did you all skip the airbag connections too?
