I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
I'd give a nod to the Goodyear Adventure All terrain tires.

I've been pleased with mine. I did get the LT ("Pro Grade") tires though, so they're heavy and rob me of some power and MPG.

mini antenna... I'm getting to it! Sheesh!
I've had BFG ATs before on my Jeeps and one older Toyota pickup... I don't really like them. Grip in the wet is not so great, rough riding, and very widely inconsistent weights. Last time I had a set they had to go through every tire in the shop to find 4 tires that were within 3lbs of each other. One was 12lbs heavier than the lightest. 21 POUNDS! WTF!

    That did it for me.

I have 265/75/16 Duratracs on now and I really like them. Fairly quiet and a very planted/stable ride for an AT. Really amazing wet grip and they held up like a champ through some pretty nasty riverbeds I had to cross this past weekend. Never slipped once, not a problem on the sharp rocky stuff. Very positive feedback. I can't wait to try them on sand.

I very much liked the performance of the Hankook Dynapro ATMs when I ran them. They didn't last as long as I would like before they began getting flats (31,000 miles). They were quiet on the highway and gave excellent traction in snow, mud and sand. They were the P rated not LT version... 265/75-16. I am running Dakota ATs now (Cooper/ Pep Boys), but may go back to the Dynapros, but try the LT version and see if the life is longer on them.

I had been real pleased with Toyo Open Country ATs as well, and they have a new version now. I also ran Cooper Discoverer ATRs happily. The Cooper Discoverer STT is NOT an all terrain tire, it is VERY noisy on the highway, and while it is excellent in mud, it sucks in sand! Never again! Looks great, and lasts a long tiime... but that's it.

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
All st maxx are load e or were when they first came out. Im going with maxxis bighorns next in 255/85/16 in load d next. 4-5 lbs lighter per tire (still heavy like 51 lbs i think) but if my tires gonna be that heavy i want a little more agression. But the maxx are really good looking ats

    not any more....

Goodyear wrangler all terrain adventure is number 1.

and if tirerack had the Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 on their site it would be either 1 or 2 not that firestone destination.

You guys running the Hankook Dynapro ATM's... are you running the P or LT? Looks like the P-metric has a 50k mile warranty, but I can't find one on the LT. Looked online and didn't find anything. Can anyone help?

I need new tires before winter. I've got about 30k on my stock and want to upgrade to an LT. I'm currently considering the Discoverer A/T 3, Dynapro AT-M and Duratracs. Cost and performance is important to me. I'd like the best bang for my buck of the 3.

    Thanks!

P for me, I don't need LT and want the benefit of the lighter P for gas mileage.

I run P-metric. Like was said before, I have no reason to get an LT tire and wanted to maintain my MPG.

Coming from the car world, it cracks me up seeing people complain about getting "only" 40k miles out of a set of tires. On my 911s, I would literally need to get new rear tires every other oil change, because they'd be bald after only 10k miles. :burnrubber:

The Corvette GS get about 8,000 miles. If you're lucky. And it's not the rears, it's the fronts that go fast.

I've been really happy with my General Grabber AT2s

just had them rotated after 15,000 km. started new with 16/32 tread, down to about 14/32. they're an LT. running at around 44 psi. even though CDN Tire keeps dropping them down to a P rating pressure of 29 psi.

My only problem with these is that Walmart (at least in CA) will NOT put anything but the spec size on your car :(
