I have two questions that I hope I can get answered.

    1. Does anybody have the mahogany covers that are on post 88 installed in a Gen 2? I have actually debated selling my Tacoma for a King Ranch for the sole reason that I absolutely love the interior.

    2. Is there anyone that can chime in on how these hold up to dogs? I have a 65lb black lab that loves my backseat. I have read that the WO's are good for dogs, but I would much prefer to have leather over wet okoles if I am going to spend money on seat covers/upholstery.

    Thanks

For degu2000, and an update to the look. They've held up great, and my lab likes the seats too. Easier to clean than cloth
For those that say it must be hotter to sit in leather in Texas heat that's not necessarily true.

    THESE are sharp looking seats!!!

What does a setup like this cost with the heated seats options and logos in the front seats?

Any idea on how these would hold up to dogs in and out of the truck?

    Cheers!

These are $1085/shipped with a pair of heaters. If you go with this Standard kit they hold up real well with dogs/my kids etc. in my opinion and regular conditioning.

What's the best thing to use to clean and condition the standard kit? I'm way too excited about my seats. Kid in a candy store.

Couple of quick questions for folks before I put in my Katzkin order:

    1) I don't seem to see a lot of people getting piping done on the seats. Is that option just not the normal look you see in leather truck seats? It's only like $35 more than contrast stitching, so doesn't seem cost prohibitive. Just seem "out of place" on a truck?

    2) Perforation on the seats. I searched a bit on the web, and saw some instances (not Katzkin specific) where there were wear issues that resulted in holes getting started in the perforated area, and needing repair. There was also some talk about it being a little more difficult to keep the perforated leather clean. Has anybody that has had their seats for a while found any of this to be true? I don't mean to call into question the quality of Katzkin leather, just trying to understand if this is a general leather seat issue, or if those folks were dealing with lower quality OEM leather based seats.

I'll have to throw in my two cents here. The piping is not for everybody and in solely my opinion is a little much in the Tacomas small cab. The perforation is great but it's really only for looks. I think for interiors that are used hard, dogs, tools etc. the Perf will be the first to show signs of wear and I typically don't recc if this is the daily abuse.
