    Easy answer, buy a '15 now if you NEED a new truck. If you can wait a year then you don't really NEED a truck at the moment.

    What are you driving now?

    Buy one NOW...... drive it for 3 years..... Hopefully, the 3rd gens will come out in 2016 (there's no evidence this is gonna happen).... Buy a 3rd gen in 2017 or 2018. Resale values are high - so you can't complain.

    I personally never buy the first year of a new production - but that's me.

    By that time (2017/2018) I'll be ready for a new one. :D

    All you guys who say not to buy the "first year" of a new model have got it all wrong. Stats show that new models actually have fewer problems, not more.
