I need a recommendation for size and manufacturer of lift for my 05 Taco. I have 265/70R16 Michelins. I was told the largest lift I can put on without having to change the tires or modify the rear diff lock is 2.25 front and 1 inch rear. I'm just looking for something simple that makes the truck look a little more aggressive. Would like to keep price below $500.

For your budget I would probably say 5100 Billies all round, stock coils, add-a-leaf in the rear or get the TSB leaf done. Do some research on here, then some more, and then a little bit more until you're nearly fed up with the idea. Once you've got it all plotted out then you can probably run it by the knowledgeable folks on here and they'll give you the green light or tell you what you'd be better off with.

Threads like these are pretty common, so most people people don't bother looking at them or just tell you to do your homework. Good luck!
