vs. Who is using what, and why is theirs better than the other. Read a lot of pro's and con's of each set. Just wanted some 1st person experience.

The set i choose will go above my bilstein 5100's @ 2.5"

    THANKS

I got the camburg uniball UCA's. They are not adjustable though. LR are adjustable. Go with those. A lot cheaper too. My camburgs were $750 compared to the LR which are around $350-$400 dollars..

I've had both as well. Originally I had Camburg, but too pricey for what you get. Since then I've switched to Light Racing. If you are really hard up for a uniball UCA, I'd go with All-pro or Total Chaos, but LR/SPC are perfectly fine for 75% of us.

I have the Camburgs with moog ball joints. They have been great for me. I'll be honest and say I originally bought them strictly for bling factor over the Light Racing ones.

I have LR and I liked them until after a year of just normal driving my ball joints went out. I just replaced them a few weeks ago and no problems. But now I'm in the habit of always checking them and checking the hardware cause when I changed my ball joints out the attach bolts for the UCA's were hand loose. I'd rather just keep checking then ignoring it having the bolts fall out.

The Camburg uniball UCAs replace the weak stock ball joint UCA. Not only did we build more castor into the arm but we also corrected the geometry so you will not run into alignment issues. Our arms are built in house with all air craft NSA bolts and US materials, no cheap parts made in China! You truly get what you pay for, so it is really up to you. If you are on a budget, you also have the option of the balljoint UCAs for the 05+ Tacomas. You will get the same high quality performance upper arm but we utilize your stock balljoint to cut down the cost. We also offer a TW discount :) Let me know if you have any questions and I can help you out!

People had a lot of issues with the original LR UCA's but since the redesign they seem to be much better. I've been running mine had for about 2.5 years now without issue.

I have no experience with Camburgs. Picked the LR up because they are adjustable and cheap. I plan on going LT down the road so I didn't want to spend a fortune on a part I'm just going to replace later.

I was weheeling at the top of daniel URE, NC came down hard and the ball joint nut slipped on my LR uppers. On the trail i had to hi lift and re adjust the nut because my tire slammed into my uppers. Since I got them I always though about them doing it and they did. YES the torque was right. STAY away from LR uppers if you plan to play. Have Desert Racing now

I had mine slip a few times. I borrowed a heavy duty torque wrench and set them to 200 ftlbs and they haven't moved since. Even with all 6000lbs of truck and 5 passengers landing some hard jumps, railing through whoops at 50+ and some abusive rock crawling.

At listed torque spec I just had to leave pavement and they would slide though.

Yeah. 120 was the original and it didn't hold. When I found out they bumped it up to 150 I tried that and both of them still shifted so I tried 200 and it hasn't moved in months.

So 200lbs would be the best bet?
